Thanks Connie for, that tip.
The last number is 0973. Does that look like the serial number?
The number before is -1.16 with a minus sign. Could this be model 1.16?

Hi, James,
To find the SQM serial number, press the button a second time and hold it
down this time. You will notice a temperature reading in Fahrenheit, then in
Celsius, then the SQM model number and the fourth number will be the SQM
serial number. It should have also been on the outside of the box when you
received it.
Let me know if you have any further questions.

I'm new to this list and to SQM and don't know if there is an archive. I
want to submit SQM readings to the Globe at Night Project. The data entry
form prompts for the serial number (optional), but I could not find it on my
unit. I checked in the battery compartment and it is not there, but was
reluctant to open SQM up.
