Some older DL units may have experienced a warped plastic lensplate when sitting in the hot Sun for extended periods of time. The exact reason is being investigated by our plastic supplier. We are working to get a glass lensplate for the DL model within the next few months.
Currently the good plastic lensplate for the DL model has a vertical seam near the right side. If your lensplate is solid, then it needs to be replaced, please contact
us to arrange for a repair.
