Two new papers on light pollution have been published in a highly respected journal, the "Journal of Quantitative Spectroscopy and Radiative Transfer":
- "Night sky photometry and spectroscopy performed at the Vienna University Observatory": Science Direct (http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S002240731300352X), arXiv (http://arxiv.org/abs/1304.7716).
- "The night sky brightness at Potsdam-Babelsberg including overcast and moonlit conditions": Science Direct (http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0022407313004925), arXiv (http://arxiv.org/abs/1307.2038).

Here is an interesting report about a telescope mounted SQM-LE and the trials and tribulations of a long term study of sky brightness:
Quantifying and Monitoring Darkness over the RAO (Rothney Astrophysical Observatory) (http://phas.ucalgary.ca/phas_info/research/publications/view/1-7771906)
by Phil Langill and Benjamin George
